That’s Pat Doscher with Friends of Hospice of the Foothills. The fundraiser started in 1990 with the goal of collecting pennies, but of course, you can give more, and they’ll gladly take dollar bills or whatever you can afford. Their care facility is located on Rough and Ready Highway. Again, the penny drive is Thursday and Friday from 11am to 5pm, at nine area locations.
