From Christmas to New Years in Grass Valley

Christmastime in Grass Valley is always a season for family, friends, food, and fun. And while holiday spirit hit downtown Grass Valley as strongly as ever, so did spending fever, as many out on Mill St. today continued to patronize local businesses.  While the bulk of the city’s holiday shopping occurred during the annual Cornish Christmas season, The manager of one local business says the fun didn’t stop there.

And while businesses are showing marked signs of improvement this Christmas season, the people of Grass Valley are taking on their own, personal self improvement. New Years Resolutions were on the minds of many Mill Street merchants and customers today.

Though the Resolutions varied widely, each was full of its own sense of holiday cheer.
