Funeral for Second Slain Deputy Today

Thousands of law enforcement officers join family members to say goodbye to Sacramento Sheriff’s Deputy Danny Oliver. A memorial service was held yesterday in Roseville for the 15-year veteran of the force, who leaves behind a wife and two daughters. Oliver was gunned down October 24th by a carjacking suspect, who is also accused of shooting and killing Placer County Sheriff’s Detective Michael Davis Jr., and wounding two others. Davis’ funeral and procession will be held today at the same church in Roseville, and KNCO’s Don Langford is on scene there this morning.
