Gas Leak Check Leads To Another Good Deed

What turned out to be a routine check of a gas leak in Morgan Ranch in Grass Valley evolved into another good deed from local fire crews. The Division Chief for the Grass Valley-Nevada City Department, Sam Goodspeed, says the leak was quickly secured at a home where an elderly couple lived. The Engine Company officer offered to remain there to await the arrival of PG and E. While waiting, the couple were talking about doing yard work….

The gas leak was possibly coming from a water heater in the garage.
