But after that, De Haan says prices are expected to start trending up again, as refineries begin converting to the more expense warm weather gas blends. Triple-A says the overall average price in Northern California has jumped 15-cents in the last month. It says the Marysville-Yuba City metro area has the cheapest average price, but that’s 24-cents higher than the previous month. Chico and Modesto tied for the second-cheapest. South Lake Tahoe has the most expensive gas.
