Get Paid To Taste

The University of California Cooperative Extension is handing out 5 dollar vouchers for people willing to taste the samples provided at Thursday Night Market and other farmer’s markets in Nevada County.

Ingram says they will be back the Nevada County Growers Market on August 3rd tasting tomatoes and then the Nevada County Fair on August 9th with a fruit sampling. At all of the tasting events there will be vouchers available for the first 100 tasters.

The UC Cooperative Extension is also gathering data via dot charts at several events to see how consumers define local and how they use the farmers markets.
