Nevada County Big Brothers Big Sisters program is preparing to put on their major fundraiser of the year, Bowl for Kids’ Sake. Anyone who has participated in the past knows the event is a lot of fun and you don’t even have to be a bowler to participate. Currently there are over 200 youth in Nevada County being mentored by the Big Brothers Big Sisters. Privitt says one benchmark for the program is that in the past 8 years all youth in the Big Brothers Big Sisters have completed and graduated from High School.
