Members of the public are asked to swing by one of the Giving Tree locations in Nevada City- at the Rood Center or Nevada County Courthouse; or in Grass Valley at the County Offices at Brighton Greens on McCourtney Road, Caroline’s Coffee downtown, the South Yuba Club on East Main Street, or Training Zone Gym in the Pine Creek Center.

Wolfe says the Giving Tree program is a wonderful way to help children that may feel especially isolated during the holidays, especially Christmas.
A number of businesses are also collecting gifts but, to minimize COVID contact, those trees are only open for employees to drop off.
