After a weekend of shopping on Thanksgiving Thursday, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, The Center for Non Profit Leadership wants to raise awareness about Giving Tuesday. Center Assitant Executive Director, Ann Guerra, wants people to think about contributing to good causes during the holiday season.

Nevada County residents are very generous when it comes to supporting those in need. Last year over 39 million dollars was donated to non-profits in Nevada County. Guerra says that for those of us that can, a 1% increase in donations can make all the difference to a good cause.
