Google Helps Get Your Small Business Online

With more and more people using technology to find information about local businesses and services, Google is providing free services that can help business owners create an internet presence.  Google has a new program for small businesses that are looking to create a website or promote an existing website: California, Get Your Business Online. Marketing Manager, Soo Young Kim ,says that there is a three hour workshop at the Stockton Arena on Wednesday

The second step is creating a Google Listing so people can find your business when using Google, Yahoo, Bing or other search engines.
The last 90 minutes includes hands on work with building a web site.

googlebusinessSessions begin at 9:00 AM and are repeated at 1:00 PM. If you cannot attend one of the two sessions on Wednesday in Stockton, you can still get all of the information and free offers through CaliforniaGetOnline.com.

All services and resources are free. According to Kim 62 percent of California small business do not have a web presence. Research shows that over 90% of people with Internet access use computers, tablets, and smart phones, to find business information.
