Googlemaps Feature added for Bus Transit

If you are familiar with GoogleMaps and also ride the Gold Country Stage buses, you can now use one to ride the other. County Transit Services Manager Susan Healy-Harmon says you can plan your route, find out how long it will take, how much it will cost, and when the buses arrive and depart, all by going to www.goldcountrystage.com…

You’ll see the route all drawn out for you, the departure times, and the route number. Healy-Harmon says it didn’t cost the county anything to get the service on their website, but there were a lot of hoops to jump through…

The GoogleMaps service is already up and running. You can also use the GoogleMaps app on your tablet or smart phone.
