GOP backs Arbuckle, Miller

A lone candidate in the Grass Valley City Council election and a single candidate in the Nov. 6 campaign for Nevada Irrigation District trustee seats have won Nevada County Republican Party endorsement.
The local GOP endorsed Jan  Arbuckle for Grass Valley City Council and Dr. W. Scott Miller in the NID election. Both elections are non-partisan but Nevada County Republican chairman Rich Ulery says the GOP interest in elections reaches to all races.

The Nevada County Republican Party also endorsed Katy Schwarz and Jim Adams in the Nevada Joint Union High School District elections.
