GOP Spring Scholarship and Candidates Event

The Nevada County Republican Party will be awarding the Ruth and Drew Bedwell Memorial scholarship at their Spring Dinner Fundraiser this Saturday. Chairman of the Nevada County Republican Party, Rich Ulery says the award this year goes to Richard Young who is a senior at Bear River High School.*

The $1,500 scholarship was set up after Drew and Ruth Bedwell both lost battles with Cancer to honor their commitment to people’s rights.

The Republican Party Spring dinner and scholarship award will be at the Alta Sierra Country Club Saturday April 28th and will feature Shawn Steel the National Republican Committeeman from California as the Master of Ceremonies and Republican candidates for public office in the June primary election, Ted Gaines, Doug LaMalfa , Sam Aanestad and Brian Dalhle as well as a video message from Tom McClintock. Tickets to the dinner are $40 per person and available at the Nevada county GOP website.T
