Governor Jerry Brown delivered his annual State of the State address at the state Capitol this morning. Brown says after years of deficits, there is a balanced state budget, which he is determined to keep for years to come. He also vowed once again not to raise tuition at California’s colleges and universities…
Brown also spoke about moving water from the northern part of the state to the south…
The state high speed rail project is due to break ground this year, and Brown says he will lead a trip to China this spring…
In his half-hour speech, Brown also called for a special session of the legislature to get California ready for the implementation of new health care laws scheduled to go into effect next year.
