Governor Jerry Brown delivered his annual state of the state address this morning–41 years after he first spoke to the entire legislature. At the State Capitol this morning, the governor outlined recent accomplishments in his 20 minute speech, and also stressed work that still needs to be done. Brown says he would consider a tax increase, but somehow the issue of the state’s roads and bridges must be addressed…

Brown also touted California’s leadership against climate change, and highlighted that California has gone from a 27-billion dollar budget deficit and lousy credit rating to a surplus and a rainy day fund, in just over four years.
