Grass Valley Also Reports Good Water Conservation

Grass Valley is keeping up with Nevada City, with a similar improvement in the water conservation rates. The first specific numbers for this summer have been released. Kiser says Grass Valley has issued a few warning citations, but no penalties have been imposed. Since both Grass Valley and Nevada City serve fewer than 3500 customers, they do not have to report usage monthly to the state and are not facing possible sanctions for not reaching the state’s 25-percent reduction mandate.
