Grass Valley Mayor Howard Levine, who is an artist himself, is hopeful that western Nevada County will be among the first to get the state designation. Levine says they are in the process of taking an inventory of all the big art locations in the area…
Levine says it’s also places where arts are made, such as Sierra College and Curious Forge.
