Colantuono says the Legislature will is also expected to separate one of the two main functions of the State Bar, with the trade association likely being sent to the private sector, leaving only the regulatory function. Another significant change that’s likely ahead during his tenure is a restructuring of the bar exam that was ordered by the State Supreme Court. That includes changing the pass/fail score.
