Shareholders of Premeire West Bank have voted to accept a merger with American West Bank, with the deal expected to close next month. The 16-million dollar acquisition was originally announced in November. The merger gives American West over 100 branches, and their first presence in California. Biddle says because there is no overlap between the two companies, no jobs will be lost…
Premeire West has a branch in Grass Valley, and will soon take the American West Bank name. No word yet on when the new signs will go up.
