Grass Valley Bar Fight Leads to Three Arrests

A fight in front of a bar on Mill Street in Grass Valley last evening lead to two victims going to the hospital and three suspects under arrest.

Grass Valley Police Lieutenant Alex Gammelgard says responding officers found two victims at the scene; one was unconscious.

That victim is still at Sutter Roseville hospital but is listed in stable condition.  Officers at the bar were able to get a good vehicle description from witnesses and a Grass Valley Police officer spotted the suspect vehicle on North Church Street.

Three suspects in the vehicle were taken into custody, 21 year-old David McFarland, 22 year-old Justin Alan Smith, and 25 year-old Travis Thomas Burdett.  All three were charged with battery, causing serious bodily injury, and criminal conspiracy.  The female driver of the vehicle they were in was not detained.
