GV Council to Discuss City Manager Candidates

The Grass Valley City Council has called a closed session for this afternoon to discuss candidates for the vacant City Manager position. Mayor Howard Levine says no final decision will be made tonight, but they will narrow down the list from more than 40 applicants…

Levine didn’t want to put a timetable on a hiring date, saying they need to find the right fit for the city. Former City Manager Bob Richardson left the job in January, returning to Auburn where he was City Manager there before taking the Grass Valley job in 2014.
