Grass Valley Council to Fill Vacancy Tonight

We will find out tonight who will fill the vacant seat on the Grass Valley City Council. The opening was created last month when newly-elected Terry Lamphier resigned just 48 hours after taking the oath of office, and the council chose to have candidates apply for the vacant position, and were interviewed during an open meeting two weeks ago. Mayor Jason Fouyer says it’s going to be a tough call, and he wouldn’t have it any other way…

Fouyer says public comment will be taken again at tonight’s meeting before the council makes their choice. The meeting is at 7 o’clock at City Hall.
