Kiser says the consensus has been to allow dispensaries under certain conditions. Any facility open to the public could only be in a C-3 commercial zone, delivery-only dispensaries could be allowed in a light industrial, or M-1 zone, and setbacks would be required from residential land uses and schools. More public comment is being taken by e-mail through April 15 at public@cityofgrassvalley.com. Due to coronavirus restrictions on public meetings, what will happen after that date is still to be determined.
