Grass Valley Donates Fire Engine to North San Juan

With the purchase of a new engine by the Grass Valley Fire Department this year, that made an older one expendable, and now the department has decided to donate an engine to the volunteer North San Juan Fire Department. Buttron says Grass Valley Fire bought the engine in 1986 for 88-thousand dollars. The Grass Valley City Council officially approved the transfer at its meeting last night (Tuesday).
