Grass Valley Elks Host Holiday Hoop Shoot

Boys and girls from eight to 13 will get to show off their basketball shooting skills this weekend. The annual ‘Hoop Shoot’ is Sunday, hosted by Grass Valley Elks Lodge number 538. Lodge ‘Exalted Ruler’ Andy Gonzalez says he expects a pretty good turnout…

Each kids gets 25 shots, and those who make the most baskets can move on to a higher competition. The Hoop Shoot is broken down into age brackets, and proof of age is required. It is free. Gonzalez says all talent levels are welcome…
