Grass Valley Fire Department Rescues Paco the Dog

Grass Valley Fire Department was requested for a public assist to remove a dog from a commercial building roof yesterday shortly after noontime.  Truck 2 crews arrived to find Paco the dog seated on the ledge between the first and second floors of a commercial structure.  Paco was in pursuit of a lizard and managed to find himself with limited options for retreat.  Truck 2’s Captain Johnston and Firefighter Hutchins laddered the building and assisted Paco from the ledge.

The lizard appears to have escaped.
