Grass Valley Holds Final Marijuana Workshop

It’s the final in a series of workshops in Grass Valley about the future of medical marijuana. The City recently passed an ordinance that bans all indoor and outdoor grows, but that ordinance is being viewed as a placeholder until the City Council can come up with a consensus of what the community wants. Vice Mayor Howard Levine is the chair of an ad-hoc committee that has invited residents to discuss the issue. He says this one tomorrow (Thursday) will focus on dispensaries…

The meeting is tomorrow morning at 8am at the City Council chambers and will last about an hour. The committee will report to the City Council about the issue next month.
