Grass Valley Man Arrested For Burglaries

A Grass Valley man has been arrested and is suspected of two weekend burglaries, and prowling around another home, in the Chicago Park Area. Nevada County Sheriff’s Captain Shannon Moon says 2 of the break-ins occurred in close proximity to each other, Saturday night, on Mount Olive Road….

Moon says about an hour later, another nearby resident reported a man shining a flashlight on his home. Then the following morning, the department received a call from a resident on Citadel Way, saying someone was inside his motor home who had closed the drapes and locked the door. Deputies were able to get inside and arrested 29-year-old Raymond Jensen….

Moon says Jensen had money stolen from the victim in his pocket, and admitted to taking the items. The victims of the other burglary, and prowling, were also able to make a positive identification of Jensen.
