Grass Valley Man Arrested In Carjacking Incident

A rather unusual carjacking incident and arrest to report in Nevada County. CHP Officer Greg Tassone says it’s believed that at least two men were part of a conspiracy to rob a man who was an aquaintance. It started on Highway 174 near Brunswick Road Monday evening, with a suspect in the passenger seat with the victim, who was driving. The suspect then pointed at gun at the victim…

Tassone says one of the men, 24-year-old Jonathan Trihub of Grass Valley, was located and arrested, after an extensive search that night. He says Trihub is facing a number of other potential felony charged, in addition to the initial carjacking charge that he was booked for. He says at least one other suspect, and perhaps more, remain at-large.
