Walsh says one of the inmates who ingested the heroin died from an overdose. He says there wasn’t enough evidence at the time to charge Milkey. But that changed when Milkey was arrested in another unrelated case…

Involuntary manslaughter is a felony which could send Milkey to state prison if he’s convicted.
