Grass Valley man dead from suspected illicit drug overdose

A 31-year-old Grass Valley man is dead from a suspected drug overdose,  police say.  The man’s name is not being released until his family is notified,Grass Valley Police Captain Rex Marks says.

Police were called early Thursday, Aug. 9, about the condition of the man who had been at the Holiday Motel on East Main St. in Grass Valley, Capt. Marks said Thursday.

Grass Valley police ask anyone with information about the death to contact the city police department or the Nevada County Sheriff.
