Grass Valley Man Suspected Of 30 Burglaries Thefts

But Royal says the victim then spotted the same driver parked in the area Monday and deputies responded. Around that time a Grass Valley Police officer, who had a description of the vehicle, spotted the driver and detained 24-year-old Kyle Melrose. A search of his vehicle turned up a number of stolen items. Royal says officers were also able to search Melrose’s home, under his probation terms, with more evidence of thefts and burglaries found…

Melrose is currently facing two felony charges: receiving stolen property worth more than $400 and identity theft, along with three misdemeanor charges.
