It’s a baby step toward re-opening being taken by the City of Grass Valley, but it could be the first of many in the near future…

City Manager Tim Kiser says it’s a new initiative called ‘Green Light Grass Valley’. Kiser warns social distancing must be followed, and as long as things don’t take a turn for the worse in terms of coronavirus cases, the hope is to be able to do something new at least once a week. Fridays may be the day that they announce something new, but he says it could come more often than that. As for next week, Kiser says they have an idea in mind but he didn’t want to talk about it just yet….

The Condon Park trails were opened to hikers and joggers this morning.
