Grass Valley PD GREAT Summer Youth Academy

The Grass Valley Police Department is hosting the Great Summer Youth Academy for 4th through 8th graders. Detective Zack LaFarriere says it’s a one week leadership program taught by officers to empower and inspire youth to become leaders within out community.

The academy is open to children throughout the county. There are academy’s in both Grass Valley and Nevada City. The deadline to sign up is May 25th and sessions begin June 18th. Applications are available on the web site great summer youth academy dot com or at your child’s school.
