Grass Valley Police Score High on Citizens Survey

The Grass Valley Police Department is doing well in the eyes of the citizens it serves. The results of the 2014 Citizen’s Attitude Survey will be shared at tonight’s Grass Valley City Council meeting. Chief John Foster says that most respondents are pleased with the overall performance of the department.

Foster says that three areas were also identified as challenges within the city.

Foster added that much of the department’s success is the result of a team effort between the community and the department as well as resources added through Measure N.

With the additional resources Foster says the department was able to take proactive police measures to address drug issues in Condon Park and the downtown area.

The Chief will present the findings in greater detail a the City Council meeting which begins at 7:00 PM this evening.
