Grass Valley School District Suspends Hybrid Model

As the regional Stay-At-Home order takes effect today, another large school district in Nevada County is going back to full-time distance learning, at least for the rest of the holiday season. Similar reasons were cited, when all schools in the Nevada Joint Union High School District suspended hybrid learning after the Thanksgiving break. Withers says the Grass Valley District is still preparing to resume hybrid services on January fourth. But that could change, if the Stay-At-Home order is still in effect, because the ICU capacity in the Greater Sacramento Region is still below 15-percent…

The district also notes that Stay at Home Order guidelines do not require schools to discontinue classroom learning.
