Grass Valley Storm Prep

With the advance notice that a big storm is coming Grass Valley City officials have had time to get ready for the downpour. Public Works Director Tim Kiser says they’re being told to expect 3 to 5 inches of rain coming down in a short period of time between Wednesday night and Friday morning.

Grass Valley’s storm system drains into Wolf Creek and crews have been working on keeping drains clear.

The National Weather Service is now saying damaging wind is expected Wednesday around midnight through Thursday early afternoon.
