Grass Valley to Hold Park Input Meetings

Grass Valley along with other cities across the state will be competing for money to improve parks and recreation services within their jurisdiction. City Manager Tim Kiser says the city will be applying for Proposition 68 funds.

Kiser says Grass Valley will be holding a minimum of five meetings to gather information from residents, but no one project has been specifically identified. He says it is totally community driven.

Thursday’s Parks Possibility Meeting is from 10-12 at the City Council Chambers. Three additional meetings are taking place on April 24 at City Hall, the 25th at Atria Senior Living Facility, and the 29th at City Hall. –30–
