Youth Academy Signups End Monday

If you are looking for affordable, fun, and exciting activities for your kids this summer, the Grass Valley Police Department has something for you. Time to sign up for the Great Summer Youth Academy is running out. Police detective Zack LaFarriere says the program is designed to inspire and empower kids to become leaders in the community…

The program is a week-long day camp for fourth through eighth graders. You drop the kids off at 8am and pick them up at 4pm….

And the price is only 25 dollars for the whole week. There are separate camps for each grade–Fourth grade June 17-21, Fifth June 24-28, sixth July 8-12, and seventh and eighth grades together July 15th-19th. You can find the application online at “great summer youth academy.com” (www.greatsummeryouthacademy.com). Applications must be received by the Family Resource Center at 235 South Auburn Street by 5pm Monday. There is a drop box if you want to turn the applications in over the weekend.
