It’s another major food drive for Interfaith Food Ministries and it starts tomorrow (Friday) and goes through Monday evening. I-F-M Executive Director Sue Van Son says it’s at Grocery Outlet.
The 30 foot trailer will be parked outside of Grocery Outlet and they will be handing out flyers with suggested food donations.
Other good items are grains, pasta, rice, oats, even dried beans that offer protein, also Peanut Butter, canned Tuna and canned Chicken.
The Interfaith Food Ministries trailer will be parked outside of Grocery Outlet Friday morning and will remain there until Monday evening. Van Son says there’s an estimated 12-thousand food insecure people in western Nevada County and IFM has served 8-thousand of them or 1 in 6 County residents.
