A report of a gun at Nevada Union High School spurred swift action by law enforcement. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says deputies surrounded the car and asked the driver some hard questions Tuesday morning. The Sheriff says the suspected firearm was found in the car.
The Sheriff says anytime a firearm is reported at a school, his department will respond quickly. The Sheriff encourages parents to talk with their children about what they take to school. No decision has yet been made if any action will be taken against the student.
