Guns Lead to Felony Arrest

A local man with a felony conviction was found to be in possession of several fire arms, on Ball Road, Monday afternoon. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says a Deputy saw a vehicle with two people in it; at least one of the occupants was not wearing a seat belt. When the Deputy checked 55 year old Richard Cox a very strong odor of marijuana was detected. The Sheriff says the deputy found the marijuana and several fire arms in a tool box.
