Habitat for Humanity Supports Partnerships

It takes partnerships and collaboration for an organization to be successful. Nevada County Habitat for Humanity know this better than anyone and wants to recognize two community partners for their contributions to provide real solutions to poverty housing in Nevada County. Habitat for Humanity Development Director, Loraine Larson says the partnership which includes Grocery Outlet and Coldwell Banker Grass Root Realty, works because all three organizations have a vested interest in home ownership, have parallel goals and aligned values.

Grocery Outlet supplies new homeowners with fully stocked kitchen and bathroom cupboards on the day they receive the key to their new home and gives these families a local option to find the best grocery shopping deals. Coldwell Banker Grass Root Realty agents work on home builds throughout the year which helps with corporate team building while promoting the benefits of home ownership.
