Halloween Fun This Weekend at the Fairgrounds

Halloween activities are taking place out at the Nevada County Fairgrounds this year again. An activity for the young at heart is Contests, Costumes, and Cupcake walk on Saturday from 2 to 5 PM in the Main Exhibit Building. Fairgrounds Foundation Member Anita Daniels says the fun includes the costume parade.

As far as scary things…. Dr. Mortis may have a hearse with some scary characters on site, but that’s about all.

Last year Daniel’s says there were about 1000 children at the event.
Children’s activities begin at 2 PM and run through 5 PM on Saturday. Five dollars per person includes food and activities.
Dr. Mortis’s House of Horrors is for older Halloween fans and is four nights, this Friday and Saturday and next Wednesday and Thursday from 6-9 PM.
