Halloween Gets a Start at the Fairgrounds

Though Halloween isn’t until Thursday, family fun and kids activities began over weekend.  Costumes, Contents, and Cupcakes out at the Nevada County Fairgrounds was  a hit for around 1000 children of all ages. Parents were thrilled to have a daytime event that allowed their kids to show off their costumes and have fun a the same time.

Kids enjoyed hot dogs from Bill’s Chuckwagon along with candy treats. If they wandered outside they had a chance to chuck a pumpkin, visit the fairgrndhalloweenpetting zoo, or go for a carriage ride through the fairgrounds as part of the three hour event put on by the Fairgrounds Foundation.hearse
