Head on collision on Dog Bar Rd.

Two drivers are very lucky to have escaped major injury following a head on collision on Dog Bar Road north of Woodbury Drive that occurred at 6:25 p.m. Wednesday evening.  CHP Officer Marc Morrison says a 55 year old woman from Grass Valley was driving her Ford Escape northbound and for an unknown reason allowed her vehicle to drift over the yellow lines into the path of a Mazda driven by a 51 year old Grass Valley Man.

The female driver was taken by ambulance to Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital with complaint of neck pain. The other driver had some bumps and bruises but did not require treatment.
