I mentioned these 2 youngsters who are facing a tough road on Swap Shop yesterday. They’d like to hear from you. Just a simple postcard with a nice note on it will suffice. Here are the stories I read with the address to send your note to:
Four-year-old Landen Green has been diagnosed with cancer and his cousin, Sommer, asked him what makes him feel better. He told her mail. So Sommer has launched Letters for Landen. Wanna make a four-year-old kid with leukemia feel better?
Send a letter to Landen: 66 South Richview Ave., Youngstown, Ohio 44509.
And then there’s Victoria Boyd who was born with distal spinal muscular atrophy, a rare genetic condition. Victoria’s already had two major back-to-back surgeries. The Dover, Pennsylvania, teen is soon headed to Philadelphia where she’ll undergo eight hours of spinal surgery. That’s where ‘Victoria’s Smile Box’ comes into play. Her family is asking people to take a minute out of their day to send Victoria a couple words of encouragement.
Send a letter to Victoria’s Smile Box, P.O. Box 11 Dover, PA 17315.
Take a minute and drop them a line. It’s amazing how good you’ll feel.
