Hey Buddy, Would you like some soup?

In 2014 Hospitality House sheltered 413 individuals, provided over 17,000 bed-nights, served over 51,000 meals, hosted over 550 on-site medical exams, and helped 312 homeless people who didn’t stay at the shelter. So far their Pathways to Housing program has assisted about 220 homeless community members into permanent sustainable homes of their own.

Some people don’t like having a homeless shelter in the community, but I think the community is a lot better off having a place where people can go and get help and learn skills to get out of being homeless.

Hospitality House Empty bowl Soup supper this Saturday March 7,   is a major fundraiser of the year for them.  Don’t have plans for lunch or dinner?  How about some soup?
