Spiral Internet CEO John Paul says the first phase includes about 2,900 eligible homes and 340 eligible businesses in the area of Highway 174 and Dog Bar Road and down to the Placer County border. It’s a 3-phase project that he hopes will eventually cover a total of around 12,000 homes over the next 5 years…

The first eligible homes may be online by this fall, with the first phase scheduled to be completed in about 2 years. Service costs $119 a month.
