The Public Utilities Commission approved Spiral’s grant request of 16-point-7 million dollars for Phase One. Paul hopes state funding can also be obtained for the other phases. A timeline for that work hasn’t been established yet. Paul says the internet speed will rival the Bay Area and it may also help attract more job-producing businesses to the area.
